2. Racha Noi Island – unlike Racha Yai island, Racha Not island is not exactly recommended for newbies, as currents here can be strong but pro and experienced divers, you are welcome. Racha Noi island is located just 45 minutes from Racha Yai island. Its crystal-clear water offers you a spectacular chance to spot eagle rays, barracudas, marble stingrays and sometimes manta rays.
3. Similan Islands – one of the most beloved island groups in Andaman Sea, Similan island is not only a favorite spot for yachts and tour boats, but also a paradise to the world’s divers. What makes the islands so special is that they are a group of 9 distinct granite islands with different names as well as number each one. The clear visibility is between 20-40 metres. You can witness Andaman reef, exotic marine life like the leopard sharks, bat fish, rays and a variety of tropical. The islands are also home to crab-eating monkeys, dusky langurs, squirrels, bats, lizards and a good variety of birds. However, please also note that the islands are open for visitors from October 15th – May 15th annually.
