The answer is definitely YES! And we will admit, it can be hard sometimes but that doesn’t mean Thailand is not a great place to go on a vacation during a rainy season. Just stay away from the crazy traffic (which is even crazier if it rains) in Bangkok and you should be fine.
But where to go? The answer is easy. If you love the mountains, visit the north and spend your time surrounded by the nature up in a mountain. Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai are always great ideas. Plus, the weather is cooler up there. A smell of the earth after the rain in the mountain is just a pleasant stress-relieve you might never know you need. You can curl up by the window whilst reading a book and drinking a hot tea by the window and listen to the sound of the rain falling upon the trees. Sounds heavenly! YES!
Now, what if you are kind of a sea-lover person. Is it safe to travel by boat during this season? Yes, as long as there is no Monsoon or Storm. Phuket is without a doubt the best choice on the list. Just fly in, get a nice hotel and you are all set.
Luckily, we know just the place. Of course, our house. Glam Habitat Hotel offers you pool villas with fully equipped kitchen and all the home entertainment devices (X-Box included) needed for a happy stay in the heart of Kamala beach. Because who says you have to go out and visit as many places as you can when you’re on holiday. Sometimes it’s just all about resting and relaxing with the people you love. Besides, we are set only minutes walk from the beach and surely, it’s not gonna rain all day.
Also, dancing in the rain on the beach is pretty damn romantic, too, yes.
