A community collaboration to preserve the natural beauty of Kamala Beach through environmental responsibility.

Glam Habitat Hotel recently participated in a beach cleanup initiative along Kamala Beach, joining forces with local businesses, volunteers, and community organizations. The event included participation from several prominent hotels in the area, including Andara Resort and Keemala, all united in a shared mission to protect and restore the coastline.
Kamala Beach is not only a beloved destination for international and domestic travelers, but also a vital part of the local ecosystem and economy. Preserving its cleanliness and natural state is a collective responsibility—one that reflects the balance between tourism growth and environmental stewardship.
During the cleanup, Glam Habitat staff members helped remove plastic waste, glass shards, and non-biodegradable debris from the shoreline. The effort wasn’t just about clearing litter, but also about raising awareness of marine pollution and encouraging more sustainable practices, such as reducing single-use plastics and properly sorting waste.
This event demonstrated the strength of collaboration within the Kamala community, highlighting the important role that hospitality businesses can play in driving positive change. By actively engaging in environmental efforts, we send a clear message: that caring for nature is an essential part of caring for our guests, our staff, and our home.
At Glam Habitat, we believe sustainability begins with action. We remain committed to supporting meaningful initiatives that protect our island’s natural beauty, ensuring that the Phuket experience stays vibrant—for today’s travelers and tomorrow’s generations alike.
