Working together for a healthier, mosquito-free community
In July 2025, Glam Habitat Hotel actively participated in the Dengue Fever Prevention Campaign held in Kamala Subdistrict, Phuket. The initiative was organized by local health authorities in close collaboration with Kamala Hospital, bringing together public, private, and community sectors to address a critical public health issue—dengue fever.
Representatives from Glam Habitat Hotel attended a key meeting hosted by Kamala Hospital, where action plans and prevention strategies were discussed. The session emphasized early intervention, environmental sanitation, and the importance of cross-sector cooperation in minimizing the risk of dengue outbreaks.
The campaign featured a variety of community-based activities, including:
• Educational workshops led by medical professionals on how to prevent dengue
• Community cleanup drives to eliminate mosquito breeding grounds
• Mosquito fogging in targeted areas
• Data-sharing and collaboration between local hotels, health units, and residents to monitor the spread and prevent cases
