Friendship Beyond Business
On Sunday, August 31, 2025, the hotels in Kamala came together for the “4th Kamala Games”, a friendly sports event hosted this year by Paresa Hotel. The opening ceremony took place at Rajaprajanugroh 36 School, Phuket, beginning at 7:30 AM, with an energetic atmosphere filled with cheers, smiles, and a true sense of community.
This year’s Kamala Games welcomed participation from leading hotels in the area, including Andara Resort, Glam Habitat Hotel, Paresa Hotel, The Naka, The Marin, and Keemala. Competitions featured a variety of sports such as volleyball, basketball, football, sepak takraw, pétanque, chair ball, and fun recreational games that brought laughter and joy to both players and supporters.
More than just a competition, the Kamala Games served as a platform to strengthen community bonds. The participating hotels came not as rivals in the hospitality industry, but as neighbors, colleagues, and friends. The event reflected the belief that Kamala is not just a place of business, but a shared home where everyone stands together in unity.
This year, Glam Habitat Hotel proudly achieved two memorable victories – winning 1st place in basketball and securing the 1st runner-up award in women’s doubles pétanque. These results were celebrated as a collective success, highlighting the dedication, teamwork, and spirit of our Glam Habitat family.
