Hands-on Training on In-Building Electrical Systems for Greater Service Reliability
In June 2024, the engineering team at Glam Habitat Hotel Kamala Beach took part in a specialized safety training course on electrical systems in buildings, conducted by the Department of Skill Development (Phuket office). The goal was to enhance their capabilities in managing hotel electrical infrastructure with maximum efficiency and safety.
The course provided comprehensive knowledge on key topics, including:
Inspection and maintenance of in-building electrical systems
Preventive measures against electrical hazards
Troubleshooting common electrical issues
Safety standards for working in high-risk areas
Led by certified experts, the sessions combined theoretical knowledge with real-world case studies and hands-on practice. This allowed participants to grasp both the “why” and “how” of safe electrical work, specifically tailored to the hotel environment.
