Preparedness through Practical Knowledge from Local Authorities

Glam Habitat Hotel Kamala Beach recently held a comprehensive fire evacuation training session for all staff, inviting experienced trainers from the Rassada Subdistrict Municipality—an official government agency specializing in emergency response and fire safety—to lead the workshop.
The training covered both theoretical knowledge and practical exercises. Staff were taught the fundamentals of fire causes, how to operate various types of fire extinguishers, and how to respond effectively in smoke-filled environments. More importantly, the session emphasized the critical protocols for safely evacuating guests and coordinating team responsibilities during emergencies.
A simulated fire evacuation drill was conducted to test real-time responsiveness, teamwork, and execution. Each department practiced their designated roles under the guidance of municipal officials, who ensured that all procedures aligned with recognized safety standards and protocols.
At Glam Habitat, safety is not just a regulatory requirement—it’s a deeply held commitment. The hotel recognizes that guests’ peace of mind is built not only on comfort and service but also on the confidence that the staff are prepared to respond swiftly and effectively to any crisis.
This fire evacuation training is part of an ongoing commitment to provide a secure environment for both guests and employees, reinforcing the culture of safety throughout the organization.
