1. Introduction and Purpose

Glam Habitat Hotel is committed to conducting business ethically, responsibly, and in a manner that respects people and the environment. This Supplier Code of Conduct (“Code”) sets out the minimum standards we expect from all suppliers, vendors, contractors, and business partners (“Suppliers”) who provide goods or services to Glam Habitat Hotel. Suppliers are expected to comply with this Code as a condition of doing business with us, and to ensure their own subcontractors and supply chains uphold the same standards.

2. Scope

This Code applies to all Suppliers engaged by Glam Habitat Hotel, regardless of size, location, or the nature of goods or services provided. Compliance with this Code will be considered as part of supplier selection, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management.

3. Legal Compliance

Suppliers must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations relevant to their business, including those governing labour, health and safety, the environment, anti-corruption, and consumer protection.

4. Ethical Business Practices

4.1 Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption

Suppliers must not offer, give, solicit, or accept bribes, kickbacks, or other improper payments or benefits in connection with their dealings with Glam Habitat Hotel or on our behalf.

4.2 Conflicts of Interest

Suppliers must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest involving Glam Habitat Hotel employees, and must not offer gifts, hospitality, or incentives intended to improperly influence business decisions.

4.3 Fair Dealing and Competition

Suppliers must compete fairly and comply with applicable competition and antitrust laws, and must not engage in price-fixing, bid-rigging, or other anti-competitive practices.

4.4 Accurate Records

Suppliers must maintain accurate financial and business records and provide truthful, transparent information to Glam Habitat Hotel, including in invoicing, certifications, and audits.

5. Labour and Human Rights

5.1 Non-Discrimination and Equal Opportunity

Suppliers must provide equal treatment and opportunity to all workers regardless of age, gender, race, nationality, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic, consistent with Glam Habitat Hotel’s own Equality, Diversity & Inclusivity Policy.

5.2 Prohibition of Forced Labour and Child Labour

Suppliers must not use forced, bonded, or involuntary labour, or engage child labour in any part of their operations or supply chains. Employment must be freely chosen, and all workers must meet the applicable legal minimum working age.

5.3 Freedom of Association

Suppliers must respect workers’ rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining, in accordance with applicable law.

5.4 Fair Wages and Working Hours

Suppliers must pay workers at least the applicable legal minimum wage, provide legally mandated benefits, and ensure working hours comply with applicable law.

5.5 Anti-Harassment and Anti-Discrimination

Suppliers must maintain a workplace free from harassment, bullying, and abusive behaviour, and must provide channels for workers to raise concerns without fear of retaliation.

6. Health and Safety

Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy working environment for their employees, in compliance with applicable occupational health and safety laws, including appropriate training, equipment, and emergency procedures.

7. Environmental Responsibility

Suppliers are expected to minimise the environmental impact of their operations, including through responsible use of energy, water, and materials; reduction of waste and emissions; and compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations. Suppliers are encouraged to pursue sustainable sourcing and packaging practices.

8. Data Protection and Confidentiality

Suppliers must protect the confidentiality of any proprietary, personal, or guest information shared by Glam Habitat Hotel, and must comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws when handling such information.

9. Reporting Concerns

Suppliers, their employees, and subcontractors are encouraged to report any suspected violation of this Code to Glam Habitat Hotel management. Reports will be treated confidentially, and Glam Habitat Hotel will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.

10. Monitoring and Compliance

Glam Habitat Hotel reserves the right to assess Supplier compliance with this Code, including through self-assessment questionnaires, site visits, or audits. Suppliers must cooperate with such reviews and address any non-conformities within an agreed timeframe.

  • Suppliers must acknowledge and confirm compliance with this Code as part of onboarding and contract renewal.
  • Glam Habitat Hotel may request evidence of compliance, such as certifications, policies, or records.
  • Material breaches of this Code may result in corrective action plans, suspension, or termination of the business relationship.

11. Review

This Code will be reviewed at least annually to ensure it remains aligned with applicable laws, industry best practice, and Glam Habitat Hotel’s broader sustainability and ethical business commitments.
