Same silence, six times over — repeated until it turns into color.
Six canvases, one stencilled figure, six colorways: Blue, Pink, Purple, Orange, Yellow and Green. Mute is Future takes Amann's mouthless MUTE character and runs it through a pop-art repetition, the way a single image multiplies across a Warhol print — except here the repetition is handmade, each canvas sprayed and painted individually rather than mechanically reproduced.
The stencil keeps the figure identical from canvas to canvas; the color is what changes the mood each time. Shown together, the six read as one idea seen from six angles — the same quiet character, never quite saying the same thing twice.

The Artist Behind Mute
Thai artist AMANN has developed a distinctive visual language shaped by skate culture, punk and hardcore scenes, as well as his strong ties to France, where he regularly spends time.
At the intersection of urban art and imagination, his work explores childhood, nature, and dreams. His pieces create a world that is at once poetic, strange, and fantastical, where the spontaneity of the street meets a more intimate sensibility.
His character MUTE is the central figure within this universe. Devoid of a mouth, he nevertheless seems to carry countless stories. Silent but never mute, MUTE becomes a mirror of an inner world made of emotions, memories, and visions.
Through MUTE, AMANN creates a universe where silence becomes a language, and where imagination opens up a space of freedom.
