On 27 August 2026, the Glam Habitat team travelled to artist Amann's studio in Phuket for our first planning meeting for MUTE — An Art Exhibition by Amann, opening at Glam Habitat Hotel, Kamala Beach, from 1–31 October 2026.
Inside Amann's Studio
Amann's studio doubles as a small gallery of its own, with finished MUTE canvases lining the walls alongside shelves of spray paint and works still in progress. It's the space where the exhibition's central character — mouthless, quiet, and instantly recognisable — has taken shape piece by piece.
Talking Through the Exhibition
The meeting was our first real sit-down on what MUTE at Glam Habitat will look like — walking through the works on show, where they'll live around the hotel, and how we tell the story of the character behind them for the guests who'll encounter him throughout October.
The Pop Series, Piece by Piece
Part of the visit was seeing the six-canvas Mute is Future, Pop Series laid out in person — blue, orange, pink, purple, yellow and green, each carrying the same silent face in a different colourway. Seeing all six together on the studio floor made clear just how well this series will work as a set on display at the hotel.

MUTE is an exploration of silence, identity and inner voice, running at Glam Habitat Hotel, Kamala Beach, Phuket, from 1–31 October 2026. As Amann puts it: "In the noise of the world, we choose to listen with our heart."
Meet the Artist
Amann is a Thai artist based in Phuket, working across painting, spray paint and mixed media. His character MUTE — a small figure without a mouth — has become the throughline of his practice, exploring what it means to carry a voice inside even in silence.
