Glam Habitat Hotel Shares the Spirit of Ramadan with the Kamala Community
During the holy month of Ramadan, Glam Habitat Hotel proudly supported the local community by donating Tupat Sutong (ตูปะซูตง) to the community at Kamala Mosque.
Tupat Sutong is a traditional southern Thai delicacy made from fresh squid stuffed with glutinous rice and slowly cooked in a sweet coconut milk sauce. This unique dish is well known among local Muslim communities and is often prepared during special occasions and religious gatherings. In many coastal areas such as Kamala and across Phuket, Tupat Sutong is commonly shared during Ramadan as part of the evening meal that breaks the daily fast.
Ramadan is a meaningful time for reflection, generosity, and unity within the community. Families, friends, and neighbors come together to share food and strengthen their bonds. By contributing Tupat Sutong to the mosque, Glam Habitat Hotel hopes to take part in this beautiful tradition of sharing and giving.
This initiative reflects the hotel’s commitment to supporting the local community and respecting the cultural traditions that make Kamala such a special place. At Glam Habitat Hotel, we believe that hospitality extends beyond welcoming our guests—it also means giving back and building positive relationships with the community around us.
We are honored to participate in this moment of generosity and wish everyone in the community a peaceful and blessed Ramadan. 🌙✨
