Earlier this year, Glam Habitat's HR team launched a new wellness initiative: a smoking cessation program built around one simple message, "Time to quit, for health, for family, and for the future." The program invites any team member ready to quit smoking to sign up with HR for support, free medication, and encouragement along the way.
Quitting smoking is never just a personal decision, it affects energy levels, focus, and the people at home who are waiting for a healthier version of you. Glam Habitat wanted to make that first step easier by removing the two biggest obstacles: cost and a lack of support.
What the Program Offers
Team members who join the program receive their nicotine-reduction medication free of charge, along with a paid day off on the day they pick it up, giving them space to start the process without work pressure. To mark the milestone of successfully quitting, the hotel also offers a 2,000 baht reward for anyone who completes the program smoke-free.
A First Success Story
The program recently celebrated its first graduate: a member of our team who committed to quitting, worked through the early days of cravings and irritability with support from HR, and came out the other side smoke-free after about a week, with his family cheering him on the whole way. He was presented with a certificate of achievement and his completion reward, a small but meaningful recognition of a genuinely hard habit to break.
